Making the choice to pass from death into life.

Looking for hope in all the wrong places and never finding relief, can place you into the cove of deprivation!

Let me just say this to you now before we get started. This is not an easy subject to deal with, so I will attempt to share what I know by way of my own experiences dealing with this demon called depression. I am in no way a psychologist, sociologist, or a licensed social worker. However, as a child, I was mentally, physically, and sexually abused for many years, and I must add that in those days, because of my color, I was not worthy of mental evaluation, or treatment. To add insult to injury, I was sold for fifty dollars. In other words, I had a long history of depression. Nevertheless, I am now saved through the salvation plan of the Lord; so, now I am free from the bondage of depression. My only medication is salvation. Therefore, I am now qualified through the blood of the lamb, as one who was called, appointed, and ordained by the Lord to work in His vineyard. Which means, I as well as all who were converted and placed into a position by the hand of God; I now have the insights that natural men do not possess. It is called Spiritual insight into the realm of God. Ok, do not take my word, let us see what the Bible says.

But the natural man recieveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned. But he that is spiritual judgeth all things, yet he himself is judged of no man. For who hath known the mind of the Lord, that he may instruct him? But we have the mind of Christ. {I Corinthians 2:14-16}

Ok, it is like this. Anyone who is not connected to the vine, which is Jesus the son of God, has no understanding. With this fact firmly in place, how then does hope have any chance to take hold and grow within us? It cannot. Again, this is simply because we are not saved. So, then the devil comes with a deluge of lies and his bag of delusional tricks. It is inevitable that any unprotected souls cave in from hopelessness. Once you have found yourself in the middle of the fog of despair, it could be the end of you. As it was with Lazarus, so shall it be with you if you’ve found yourself in this cove. Again, within this illusion of hopelessness, you cannot receive deliverance. Listen, the longer a person is separated from God, the harder it is for them to find Him. Let us go to the word. Listen, if you are connected to the vine, then you will know that there is always forgiveness for the believer.

Behold, the Lord’s hand is not shortened, that it cannot save; neither his ear heavy, that it cannot hear: But your iniquities have separated between you and your God, and your sins have hid his face from you, that he will not hear. {Isaiah 59:1,2}

What this is saying to anyone who has ears to hear and eyes to read, is this. Once you have willingly decided that you want to have it your way, you are on your own because you are in a state of confusion from a lifestyle of sinning. You cannot expect to hear anything from the Lord because you have chosen your destiny. Again, let me say this to you again, falling is a matter of choice and not a mistake. {Ambassador Ray K. Payne}

Listen my friends, unless a doctor is saved and walking in the Lord, there is no way for them to accurately define the truth in anyone’s mental disposition. Meaning to say, the root cause in anyone’s malfunctions is not found in man’s understanding, but in the divine connection to divine truth. Please get this nugget of truth. If you will not allow the word of God to enter into your soul, and you will find yourself in the hands of the devil, and now you are overwhelmed with depression. Please go right away and find a good Mental Health Professional and let them give you some pills and hope that they work for you. Otherwise, you are out of options.

Man's goings are of the LORD; how can a man then understand his own way? {Proverbs 20:24}

Maybe you don’t know it, but demons are real, and they can live inside of people. Meaning you must be born again if you really want to gain Spiritual insights. Books can teach you signs to watch out for in the action of an individuals. But once again, the Bible tells us all that God looks on the inside of a man.

The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked; who can know it? I the Lord search the heart, I try the reins, even to give every man according to his ways, and according to the fruit of his doings. {Jeremiah 17:9-10}

Listen my friends, only God alone can read us like a book. Listen, in this world we will no doubt have many tribulations as we attempt to grow into productive adults. unfortunately, this is not a simple road to travel down. This is but one reason why all humans need a force greater than themselves to be the lifelong guide they will surely need to live in this sinful and destructive planet. Please understand that evil is always present, and it has no remorse before or after it has consumed an individual life. A devastated soul is a broken vessel without any hope for their present or future life. This will always be their personal blinded and unfounded truth. Therefore, such persons gravitate to “I’m going to kill myself and end this pain.” Anyone caught in this realm, has adopted this as their personal perspective. Again, the word speaks:

Where there is no vision, the people perish: but he that keepeth the law happy is he. {Proverbs 29:18}

Listen, if we have only emptiness living inside of us, well then there is nothing to hold on to when the devil comes with a deluge of misfortunes. Hope means you have an experience to draw from so you can have some sort of help to guide you at that time of confusion. The word of God says that in the beginning God created the heaven and the earth. So, let’s start there. When a child is in its mother womb, the parents can communicate with it. Now the baby will not understand the word but let me tell you this. That blessed child will be able to feel the love or hatred in the voice and touch of either parent. In other words, if you are a broiler and a drunk, well your baby can receive that gene, and when it comes out, the child can experience signs that he or he has no abilities of a normal child. Listen, I am not talking about family genetics like diabetes. I am, however, talking about sins that can be passed down from one sinful generation to another. This is directly associated with a sinner’s daily routine, or the baby can come out sickly and possibly die. What am I saying? You need to set the tone for the environment that your own baby will be growing in. Please, listen to this. I know women who curse all day and party all night even while being pregnant. Such actions clearly speak volumes saying it’s my life and I will do what I want. One word, {selfish}. And when the child was delivered nothing changed. But the day the child was able to walk, it was into everything from the time the child was awake until the time it went to sleep. What am I saying? This little vessel has not only learned how to act out violent actions, but also is now able to talk, and all the words that come out of that mouth are curse words. This child’s mother says nothing. In fact, many mothers like this find the child’s action amusing, and they will video it and put it on social media. Now that the child is fifteen, the mother has no control over the child, and the school cannot do a thing with the child. So, now the medical people have stepped into the picture, placing a label over the child’s head.

The next step will be the kid will become a legal drug addict, and the dealer who cannot go to jail is the pharmaceutical companies. Now we have another incredibly angry child growing into an adult, who no doubt will become a problem for society, and the police are going to be the next wall they will hit. The point: Any child born into such an environment must become a menace to themselves and to society. Meaning to say, there was no groundwork laid out within the growth process so the self-will must take the lead, so all rules and regulation will not be followed. Without clearly defined guidelines instated into the minds of all people, this world will no doubt kills us through the many storms of dissolution.

Let’s look at some of the ungodly bowls of ingredients that destroy self-esteem:

No love received as a child.

No guidance in times of trouble when you were a child.

Being alone most of the time as a child.

Not knowing what it feels like to be loved from childhood.

Being abused mentally, sexually, and physically by those who said they loved you.

No money.

No education.

No place to live/abandonment.

No teeth.

Love a nice body to attract men with.

Too Fat.

Too Skinny.

Too Tall.

A lost loved one - primarily a boyfriend or a girl’s friend - because you perceive them as your world and nothing else matters.

All the above are ways that depression can take hold of a person’s mind and body. Listen, young girls who never received the love of a father, will sometimes gravitate to some guy, and he then becomes her god. Meaning that once she believes that he loves her, there is nothing she will not do for him. Then some of them will even fight their own mother over him, and this is one of the way females fall into prostitution. She can become a victim because she has no tools to see otherwise. Some females have killed themselves because the man they loved cheated on them. There are rotting away in prison for killing the man they said they loved because he cheated on her. Listen, when all you have is one way in or out of a situation, you are trapped and the outcome will be desperation, which is another form of depression.
