To the believers in Christ, a Prayer for our Nation. One reason why we must pray!!!!

THIS know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come. For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy: without natural affection, truce breakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good. Traitors, heady, high-minded, lovers of pleasures more that lovers of God; Having a form of godliness but denying the power thereof: from such turn away. For of this sort are they which creep into houses, and lead captive silly woman laden with sins, led away with divers lust, Ever learning, and never able to come into the knowledge of the truth.

{2 Timothy 3:1-7}

Lord we come to you humbled and in prayer. You said in all your ways to acknowledge you and you will direct our paths. However, billions of people in this world have not complied. So, now Father we come to you as the part of the body of Christ, not for ourselves but for the nation. Billions of people have willfully turned their backs on you in many ways. They have not shown you the respect that you deserve. And for this reason, you have allowed things to come upon this sinful world.

BEHOLD, the Lord’s hands is not shortened, that it cannot save; neither his ear heavy, that it cannot hear. But your iniquities have separated you from your God, and your sins have hid his face from you, that he will not hear. {Isaiah 59:1-2}

In other words:

In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths. Be not wise in thin own eyes: fear the Lord and depart from evil. It shall be health to thy navel, and marrow to thy bones. {Proverbs 3:6-8}

Lord, we know that the people have not taken this little step which is to depart from evil. So now fear and deprivation has taken over their minds. Lord, some of us believers, are concerned with the welfare of others more than ourselves. So, we are now standing in the gap for those who are weak and ready to die.

If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and heal there land. {2 Chronicles 7:14}

Since we are your people, we now come to you regarding all the wickedness in this land, starting with the government. They have allowed murder and hatred to develop as a direct result of them turning their back on you. They are disrespecting you by desiring to remove (IN GOD WE TRUST) off all the currency. They have taken prayer out of school. Yet under a cloud of deception, they have said prayer is allowed back in the buildings. But death is now instituted in its place. This new deluge called Covid 19, is just the latest plague. Yet, they still will not acknowledge you. Therefore, some of us in the body of Christ are calling upon you to do for us what we cannot do for ourselves. We have no power to deal with this governmental misconduct, and the blame is also upon the heads of all people in this world that really believe that they can just call upon you, and you will hear them. But the fact is you cannot hear them because of their daily sinning as a way of life. So, father using the faith of the believers, we seek justice for this nation. Father we thank you because we know you hear our Prayer. Amen.

Please consider the scriptures as you pray:

But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you. Take therefore no thought for tomorrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof. {Matthew 6:33-34}

Enter ye into the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat: Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it. {Matthew 7:13-14}

For they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh; but they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit. For to be carnally minded is death; BUT TO BE Spiritually minded is life and peace. Because the carnal mind is enmity against God: for it is not subject to the laws of God, neither indeed can be. So they that are in the flesh cannot please God. {Romans 8:5-8}

If we say we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. If we say that we have no sinned, we make him a liar, and his word is not in us. {I John 1:8-10}

With Prayer to God we will get through this together!!!
